if 2010 was the year that broke me physically, 2011 tried to be the year that did so emotionally. i ended a three-year relationship, was promoted, moved and was cut-off from a very important friend all within a few short months.

but, just as that broken bone made me stronger, so did these trials… eventually.

next month, i’ll celebrate my fifth anniversary with my company and i’ll also skate in my first bout with my new roller derby league.

here’s hoping that 2012 can be the year i get better without getting worse first.
